State Senator Ronnie Chance (R-Tyrone) will become the new Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, filling the vacancy left by incoming Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock). Other notable changes in the Senate include John Wiles (R-Kennesaw) chairing Special Judiciary, as vacated by Michael Meyer Von Bremen, Renee Unterman (R-Buford) replacing Chance as Chair of Government oversight, and Eric Johnson (R-Savannah) filling Unterman-s former role as Chair of the Senate Ethics Committee.
